Windows Update Version 1903 “Codename 19H1″ Released
For those of us patiently waited, it’s been 5 years now since the release of window 10. The Windows 10 May 2019 Update will be the first major update for Microsoft Called version 1903 or known codemane 19H1, updating the version Windows update version 1803 of 2018. The May release was previously know as
the ‘Windows 10 April 2019 update’.
I must say I have been pleased with the overall performance. Although windows 8 gave t the periferal manufacturers the opertunity to abandon ther legacy products by not producing driver updates. I have also found the windows 7 64 bit drivers function well in this reguard.
Microsoft now has over 800 million users of their operating system. It’s been and up and down 4 years with updates breaking and we even saw the release of and update to remove problem updates. If you haven’t updated now, you still can. You can update from windows 7 and windows 8.
Version 1903 will include:
A new lighter theme
A better Start menu
A new edge based on Googles Chromium
Cortana is no longer integrated into the Search Box
Cortana has gotten smarter
You can pause updates
You can create a Sandbox for testing out software in a virtual Windows environment.
Of course you must remember these improvemenets may also cause issuses that will need to be worked out and not allchanges are complete.
Some of you may be wondering when Windows 11 will be out. But alas Microsoft has chosen to skip version 11 and just to version 12. Which is all about VR (Virtual Reality).
