Ok, time for a tablet update. I just saw one of those tablet sales $59 or less for a Pandigital Novel Digital Book Reader (PRD07T10WWH7) with 7′ Color. Most tablets are in this 7″ format and I guess with all the new stuff coming for Christmas they are dumping them. There are a few features I want:
1. Bluetooth for Headphones or hearing aids. (People with Bluetooth compatible Hearing aid would be enjoying this feature)
2. Capacitive touchscreen. With Hardware Touch you have to press harder.
3. MaxMemory. I would prefer 1 GIG ddr2 RAM
4. USB Port. (the reason should be obvious.)
5. GyroScope and GPS. That’s more bang for the buck.
6. HiResolution screen. 1280×800 10″ screen
7. Front and Back Cameras for face time and Skype.
8. WiFi 802.11N Minimum.
9. The latest android. It is possible that the tablet you buy will never be updated.
10. Long Life Batteries.
11. Maximum CPU Cores and GPU Cores( Graphics Processors )
12. Reader Software. Yes, I like to read books without sitting at my machine.
13. Hauwei 3g or 4g adapter Internal or external.
Wish list. Near Field Communications
There are alot of cheap tablets out there and I mean Cheap… Counterfit. Don’t Trustum. I have seen counterfit batteries inside machines rating at 8000MA hours and only give 2 hrs time. Buy from reputable people. Amazon.com is a winner. This is because they will always offer you money back. Others won’t. Plus there is an awful lot of reconditioned or refurbished units. This means with a high rate of return or high failure rate they cannot be sold as new. If you are careful you can find a good deal.
