Google Chromecast Streaming Device for Online Video & Music on your TV
Well, Google has done it again. They have just released, to a sold out market, a $35 gizmo that allows internet streaming to the tv. The dongle plugs directly into the tv’s HDMI input. In most cases it is powered by the HDMI Connector. (older spec HDMI Did not supply power). IF it doesn’t you can plug the supplied cable into the USB port on the TV to get power.
The device allows syncs to your existing WiFi and you are up an running. Now I see why they purchased YouTube last year. It’s compatible with Android devices and IOS 6.0.
It can even stream video your PC videos from the Chrome browser on you pc.
Controls are on the screen or through Apple or Android apps.
It also works with Netflix, Pandora, YouTube & others. Google Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player can be control from your PC, tablet or smart phone.
